Ingredients

  • ½ lb beef sirloin
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell pepper, zucchini, onion)
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp chili garlic sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. 1

Cut the 0.5 lb beef sirloin into 1-inch cubes and the 2 cups mixed vegetables into similar-sized chunks. Thread them onto skewers, alternating meat and vegetables.

  2. 2

In a wide pot, combine 2 cups chicken broth, 2 tbsp chili garlic sauce, and 1 tbsp soy sauce. Bring to a boil over high heat.

  3. 3

Add the skewers to the boiling broth. Reduce heat to medium and simmer until the beef is cooked through and vegetables are tender, about 10 minutes.

  4. 4

Remove the skewers from the broth and place them in a serving bowl. Ladle some broth over the top and sprinkle with 1 tsp sesame seeds before serving.
