Ingredients
- 1.5 lb sea snails
- ½ cup peanuts
- 3 tbsp chili oil
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 medium onion
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Rinse the 1.5 lb sea snails under cold water and drain well. Pat dry with paper towels.

Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the snails in a single layer and stir-fry until they start to sizzle, about 2 minutes.

Add the 1 sliced onion and 4 minced garlic cloves. Stir-fry until the onion softens and the garlic is fragrant, about 2 minutes.

Stir in 3 tbsp chili oil and 2 tbsp soy sauce. Cook, tossing constantly, until the snails are coated and heated through, about 3 minutes.

Add 0.5 cup peanuts and toss to combine. Cook for 1 minute more, then remove from heat. Serve hot.
