Ingredients
- 1.5 cups canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- ¾ cup roasted red peppers (from a jar or can), drained
- 3 tbsp tahini (sesame seed paste)
- 2 clove garlic cloves, minced
- ½ tsp red chile flakes or fresh red chile, finely chopped
- 3 tbsp lemon juice

Add chickpeas, roasted red peppers, tahini, garlic, and red chile flakes to a food processor.

Pulse until roughly combined, then add lemon juice and 2 tbsp ice water.

Blend on high 60–90 seconds until smooth and creamy, scraping the bowl once halfway through.
