Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb white fish fillets
  • 2 lime
  • 2 red chili peppers
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. 1

Pat the 1.5 lb fish fillets dry and season both sides with the 1 tsp salt. Juice 1 lime and slice the other into wedges for serving.

  2. 2

Mince the 4 garlic cloves and finely chop the 2 red chili peppers (remove seeds for less heat).

  3. 3

Heat the 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Add the garlic and chili, cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  4. 4

Place the fish in the skillet, skin-side down if applicable. Cook until golden and opaque, about 3-4 minutes per side, depending on thickness.

  5. 5

Squeeze the lime juice over the fish, cook 1 minute more. Serve hot with lime wedges and extra chili if desired.
