Ingredients
- 1.5 lb white fish fillets
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 6 dried red chili peppers
- 4 green onions

Pat the 1.5 lb fish fillets dry and season with salt and pepper. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium-high until shimmering.

Add the fish and cook until golden on both sides, about 3 minutes per side. Remove to a plate.

In the same skillet, add the 6 dried chilies and 1 sliced yellow bell pepper. Cook until fragrant and slightly softened, about 2 minutes.

Pour in the 1/4 cup soy sauce and 1/2 cup chicken broth. Bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits.

Return the fish to the skillet, spoon sauce over, and simmer until fish is cooked through and flakes easily, about 5 minutes. Top with sliced green onions.
