Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • ¾ cup crushed tomatoes
  • 1.5 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ medium onion, finely minced
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. 1

Mix ground lamb, minced onion, 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste, garam masala, cumin, salt, and half the cilantro in a bowl until just combined.

  2. 2

Roll mixture into 16 balls about 1.5 inches wide and set on a plate.

  3. 3

Heat 2 tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium-high until shimmering, then add meatballs in a single layer.

  4. 4

Cook meatballs 5–6 minutes, rolling occasionally, until golden brown on all sides. Transfer to a plate.

  5. 5

Pour crushed tomatoes and yogurt into the skillet, stir to combine, then return meatballs to the pan.
