Ingredients
- 8 oz spaghetti
- ½ lb ground beef
- 1.5 cups marinara sauce
- 4 oz burrata cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh basil
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- 1
Cook the 8 oz spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
- 2
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the 1/2 lb ground beef, breaking it up, until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if needed.
- 3
Stir in the 1.5 cups marinara sauce and simmer until thickened, about 3-4 minutes. Add a splash of pasta water if too thick.
- 4
Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce. Season with the 1/4 tsp black pepper.
- 5
Serve the pasta in bowls, tear the 4 oz burrata over the top, and sprinkle with the 2 tbsp fresh basil.
