Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs live or cooked crab legs (thawed if frozen)
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp ginger, minced
  • 4 cloves garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp Korean red chili flakes (gochugaru)
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil

Instructions

    If using live crab, freeze for 15 minutes to numb. Cut each leg into 2–3 segments.

    Stir soy sauce, ginger, garlic, chili flakes, and sesame oil in a large bowl.

    Add crab segments and toss gently to coat. Cover and chill for 5 minutes.

    Transfer to a serving dish with all the marinade, spooning extra sauce on top.

    Serve immediately with steamed rice and chopsticks, drinking the sauce between bites.
