Ingredients

  • 1 crust unbaked 9-inch pie crust
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Set the pie crust in a 9-inch pie pan; set aside.

    Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat, ~2 minutes. Remove from heat.

    In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, eggs, flour, vinegar, and vanilla until smooth.

    Stir the melted butter into the egg mixture until fully combined.

    Pour filling into the pie crust. Bake 35–40 minutes until edges are set but center still jiggles slightly.
