Ingredients
- 8 oz large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 6 oz sea scallops, patted dry
- 3 tbsp ponzu sauce
- 1.5 tbsp butter
- 2 stalks scallions, sliced thin
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp neutral cooking oil

Pat shrimp and scallops dry with paper towels. Season both with salt and pepper.

Heat oil in a 10-inch skillet over high heat until it shimmers, about 60 seconds.

Add scallops to the pan without moving them. Sear 90 seconds until golden on one side.

Flip scallops, push to the side, and add shrimp to the empty space. Sear both 60 seconds.
