Ingredients
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang on two sides.

Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat, about 2 minutes.

Remove from heat. Whisk in cocoa powder until smooth, no lumps remain.

Add powdered sugar and cream. Stir until glossy and fully combined, ~1 minute.

Stir in vanilla extract. Pour into prepared pan, smooth the top with a spatula.

Refrigerate until firm, at least 2 hours. Lift fudge out using parchment overhang.
