Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 8 count corn tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro
  • 2 count avocado, sliced
  • 2 count lime wedges
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

    Combine chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.

    Toss shrimp with olive oil and spice mixture, then squeeze lime juice over and let sit 5 minutes.

    Mix sour cream, lime juice, minced garlic, and salt in a small bowl to make crema.

    Heat a 12-inch cast iron skillet over medium-high heat until very hot, about 2 minutes.

    Add shrimp in a single layer and cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through.

    Warm tortillas in a dry skillet for 30 seconds per side.

    Place 2–3 shrimp on each warm tortilla.

    Top with shredded cabbage, avocado slices, and a drizzle of lime crema.
