Ingredients

  • 300 g large shrimp, peeled
  • 180 g linguine
  • 5 piece garlic cloves
  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • ½ tsp chili flakes
  • 3 tbsp fresh parsley
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. 1

Cook linguine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 0.5 cup pasta water before draining.

  2. 2

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook 1 minute per side until pink. Remove.

  3. 3

Add garlic and chili flakes to the same pan, cook 30 seconds. Pour in wine and simmer 2 minutes. Stir in butter and lemon juice.

  4. 4

Add pasta and shrimp. Toss, adding pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce. Finish with lemon zest and parsley.
