Ingredients

  • 4 pieces pork sausages
  • 4 pieces bacon strips
  • 200 grams mushrooms, whole
  • 2 medium tomatoes, halved lengthwise
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 to taste salt and pepper

Instructions

    Set the oven to 400°F and wait for the indicator light or beep to signal it has finished heating, about 10 minutes.

    Place the pork sausages on a large sheet pan, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil over them and roll them to coat evenly.

    Slide the sheet pan into the oven and bake for 8 minutes until the sausages are no longer raw on the outside, about the color of light caramel.

    Remove the pan from the oven and push the sausages to one side.

    Arrange the bacon strips in a single layer on an empty section of the pan, then place the mushrooms stem-side down next to them, and the tomato halves cut-side up on the final section.

    Drizzle the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the mushrooms and tomatoes, then sprinkle everything with salt and pepper.

    Return the pan to the oven and bake for 12–14 minutes until the bacon is crispy and the tomatoes are soft and their tops are beginning to char at the edges.

    Remove the pan from the oven and place it on a heat-safe surface to cool for 1 minute.

    Divide everything between two plates, keeping sausages, bacon, mushrooms, and tomatoes in separate groups for presentation.
