Ingredients

  • ½ cup plain yogurt
  • 1.5 teaspoons garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 14 ounces chicken breast or thigh, cut into 1.5-inch cubes

    Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels by pressing them firmly against each piece, removing surface moisture so the marinade sticks better.

    Pour the yogurt into a medium bowl, then add garam masala, cumin, paprika, and minced garlic until fully combined and uniform.

    Add the chicken pieces to the yogurt mixture and stir until each piece is completely coated on all sides.

    Set the oven to broil on high and position the rack 6 inches below the heat source; wait 5 minutes for the element to get hot.

    Spread the marinated chicken in a single layer on a sheet pan, spacing pieces about 1 inch apart so heat reaches all sides.
