Ingredients
- ½ lb beef tenderloin
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- ½ tsp salt

Pat the 0.5 lb beef tenderloin dry and season all over with the 0.5 tsp salt. Heat the 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a skillet over high until shimmering, about 2 minutes.

Sear the beef for 1-2 minutes per side until browned but still rare in the center. Transfer to a plate and let rest for 5 minutes.

In a small bowl, whisk together the 2 tbsp soy sauce and 1 tsp sesame oil. Slice the beef as thinly as possible against the grain.
