Ingredients
- 1 cup steel-cut oats
- 2.5 cups water or milk (dairy or plant-based)
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1.5 cups fresh or frozen mixed berries
- 3 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- ½ tbsp lemon juice

Bring water or milk to a boil in a medium pot over medium-high heat.

Stir in oats and salt. Reduce heat to medium and simmer, stirring occasionally, until creamy and tender, about 15 minutes.
