Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • ¾ cup water, cold
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp cumin seeds
  • 4 cubes ice cubes

Instructions

    Toast cumin seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat, shaking, until fragrant, ~60 seconds.

    Transfer cumin to a mortar or small bowl and crush lightly with the back of a spoon.

    Add yogurt, cold water, salt, and crushed cumin to a blender.

    Blend on high until smooth and frothy, ~30 seconds.

    Pour into a tall glass, add ice cubes, and stir once.
