Ingredients
- 1 lb pizza dough
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 4 oz smoked salmon
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- ½ small red onion
- 2 tbsp fresh dill
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- 1
Preheat oven to 475°F. Roll out the 1 lb pizza dough on a floured surface to about 12 inches round, then transfer to a baking sheet.
- 2
Brush the dough with 1 tbsp olive oil and sprinkle with 1 cup shredded mozzarella, leaving a 1-inch border. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
- 3
While the crust bakes, thinly slice the 0.5 small red onion and chop the 2 tbsp fresh dill. In a small bowl, soften the 4 oz cream cheese in the microwave for 15 seconds until spreadable.
- 4
Remove the hot pizza from the oven. Immediately scatter the sliced red onion over the melted cheese, then tear the 4 oz smoked salmon into pieces and arrange on top.
- 5
Drizzle the softened cream cheese over the pizza in a zigzag pattern. Sprinkle with the chopped dill and 0.25 tsp black pepper. Slice and serve warm.
- 6
For extra flavor, add capers or a squeeze of lemon juice before serving if you have them.
