Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups whole milk
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp rose water
  • ¼ cup pistachios, shelled and roughly crushed
  • ¾ cup fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions

    Whisk cornstarch and sugar together in a small saucepan. Slowly pour in milk, whisking constantly to avoid lumps.

    Set the pan over medium heat and stir constantly until the mixture thickens and comes to a gentle simmer, about 5 minutes.

    Remove from heat and stir in rose water until fully mixed. Pour into serving bowls and let cool for 1–2 minutes.
