Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz lasagna noodles, broken into 2-inch pieces
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

Instructions

    Heat olive oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering, about 60 seconds.

    Add ground beef and cook, breaking up with a spoon, until no pink remains, about 6 minutes.

    Stir in broken noodles, marinara sauce, water, salt, and pepper until noodles are submerged.

    Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook until noodles are tender, about 10 minutes, stirring once halfway.

    Drop spoonfuls of ricotta over the top and sprinkle mozzarella evenly across the surface.
