Ingredients
- ½ sheet frozen puff pastry sheet (thawed)
- ¾ cup gruyère or sharp cheddar, finely grated
- 1 whole egg
- ¼ teaspoon fleur de sel or coarse sea salt

Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Lay thawed puff pastry on a clean surface. Brush lightly with beaten egg.

Sprinkle grated cheese evenly over the entire surface, pressing gently.

Cut pastry into 1/2-inch-wide strips using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
