Ingredients
- 1 fish whole white fish (1.5–2 lbs, gutted and scaled)
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp neutral cooking oil
- 1 lb frozen french fries
- 1.5 cups cooked white rice
- 1 whole ripe avocado
- 1 medium tomato, sliced

Pat fish dry inside and out. Season generously with salt and pepper inside the cavity and all over the skin.

Spread flour on a plate. Coat fish lightly on all sides, shaking off excess.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high until it shimmers. Carefully slide fish into the pan.

Fry fish 5–6 minutes per side without moving until skin is golden and crispy, flesh flakes easily.

While fish cooks, bake frozen fries per package and warm rice in a separate pot or microwave.
