Ingredients
- 1 cup poha (flattened rice)
- 1 medium onion
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Rinse the 1 cup poha in a colander under cold water until just softened, about 30 seconds. Drain well and set aside.

Heat the 2 tbsp oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the 1 sliced onion and cook until soft and golden, about 5 minutes.

Add the 0.5 tsp turmeric and 0.5 tsp salt. Stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the drained poha and toss gently with the onion mixture until evenly coated and heated through, about 3 minutes. The poha should be tender but not mushy.
