Ingredients

  • 4 medium Roma tomatoes
  • ½ medium white onion
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro
  • 1 medium jalapeño pepper
  • 1 whole lime
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

    Dice the Roma tomatoes into small, even cubes and place in a medium bowl.

    Finely dice the white onion and add to the bowl with tomatoes.

    Mince the jalapeño pepper, removing seeds if you prefer less heat, and add to the bowl.

    Chop the fresh cilantro and add to the mixture.

    Squeeze the lime juice over the salsa and stir gently to combine.

    Season with salt and black pepper, taste and adjust as needed.

    Let sit for 5 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
