Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium carrot, diced small
- 1 stalk celery, diced small
- 6 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- ¾ cup pastina (small star or round pasta)
- ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 3 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Heat oil in a pot over medium. Add carrot and celery, cook stirring occasionally until softened, ~4 minutes.
