Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mixed berries

Instructions

  1. 1

In a bowl, whisk 1 cup flour, 1 tsp baking powder, and a pinch of salt. In another bowl, beat 1 egg with 1 cup milk.

  2. 2

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir until just combined; a few lumps are fine. Heat a lightly oiled skillet over medium.

  3. 3

Pour 1/4 cup batter per pancake. Cook until bubbles form on top, about 2 minutes, then flip and cook until golden, 1-2 minutes more.

  4. 4

In a small saucepan, melt 1/2 cup chocolate chips with 2 tbsp milk over low heat, stirring until smooth and glossy.

  5. 5

Stack pancakes on plates, drizzle with the chocolate sauce, and top with 1 cup mixed berries. Serve warm.
