Ingredients

  • 2 fillet fish fillets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 whole lemon
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill

Instructions

  1. 1

Pat the 2 fish fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with the 0.5 tsp salt and 0.25 tsp black pepper.

  2. 2

Heat the 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering, about 2 minutes.

  3. 3

Place the fillets in the skillet skin-side down if they have skin. Cook until the edges turn opaque and the bottom is golden, about 3-4 minutes.

  4. 4

Flip the fillets and cook until the flesh flakes easily with a fork and is opaque throughout, about 2-3 minutes more.

  5. 5

Remove from heat and squeeze the juice of the 1 lemon over the fish. Sprinkle with the 2 tbsp chopped fresh dill and serve immediately.
