Ingredients

  • 1 9 inch pie crust
  • 3 large eggs
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • ½ cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place the 1 pie crust in a 9 inch tart pan, pressing it into the edges and trimming any excess. Prick the bottom with a fork.

  2. 2

In a medium bowl, whisk together the 3 eggs and 0.75 cup sugar until smooth and pale, about 2 minutes.

  3. 3

Stir in the 0.5 cup orange juice, 1 tbsp orange zest, and 0.5 cup heavy cream until fully combined.

  4. 4

Pour the filling into the prepared crust. Bake until the filling is set but slightly jiggly in the center, about 30 minutes.

  5. 5

Let the tart cool on a wire rack for at least 15 minutes before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
