Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked sushi rice or short-grain rice, still warm
- 1 tbsp umeboshi (pickled plum paste) or white miso
- ½ sheet nori (seaweed sheets), cut into thin strips
- ½ tsp salt

Fill a small bowl with cool water and add a pinch of salt—this prevents sticking.

Wet both hands in the salt water, then grab 1/2 cup warm rice in your palm.

Make a thumbprint indent in the center and add 0.5 tsp umeboshi or miso paste.

Cover paste with a pinch of rice, then gently shape into a tight triangle.
