Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

    Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang on two sides.

    Combine condensed milk, cocoa powder, and butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.

    Stir constantly until mixture is smooth and pulls away from the pan sides, ~3 minutes.

    Remove from heat and stir in vanilla until evenly distributed.

    Pour into prepared pan and smooth the surface with an offset spatula or spoon.

    Chill until firm, at least 2 hours, then lift out using parchment overhang.

    Cut into 16 pieces using a sharp knife wiped between cuts. Store in airtight container.
