Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 lb potatoes, diced into 1/2-inch cubes
- 1.5 lb cod or haddock, skin removed, cut into 1-inch chunks
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups clam broth or fish stock
- 1 to taste salt and pepper to taste

Cook bacon in a large pot over medium heat until crispy, ~8 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon; chop and set aside.
