Ingredients
- 8 oz Tortilla chips
- 1 lb Ground beef
- ½ medium Onion, diced
- 2 tsp Chili powder
- 1 tsp Cumin
- ½ tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Black pepper
- ¼ cup Water
- 2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup Jalapeños, sliced
- ½ cup Sour cream
- ½ cup Guacamole
- 3 tbsp Fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions
- 1
Heat a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and diced onion, breaking up the meat as it cooks until browned, about 5–6 minutes.
- 2
Drain excess fat from the skillet. Stir in chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Add water and simmer for 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
- 3
Spread tortilla chips on a large serving platter or cast iron skillet.
- 4
Spoon seasoned beef evenly over the chips. Scatter shredded cheddar cheese and jalapeño slices on top.
- 5
Place under a preheated broiler for 2–3 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly. Watch carefully to prevent burning.
- 6
Remove from broiler. Dollop sour cream and guacamole on top. Garnish with fresh cilantro and squeeze lime juice over the nachos. Serve immediately.
