Ingredients
- 1 can (397g) sweetened condensed milk
- 3 tbsp ghee
- ¼ cup dry milk powder
- 4 whole cardamom pods, crushed
- ¼ cup unsalted pistachios, chopped
- 1 tbsp rose petals, dried (optional)
Instructions
- 1
Heat ghee in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high until shimmering, about 60 seconds.
- 2
Add condensed milk and crushed cardamom. Stir constantly to prevent sticking, breaking up lumps as they form.
- 3
Once the mixture darkens and pulls away from the pan, add milk powder a pinch at a time, stirring until fully combined.
- 4
When the paste is thick, glossy, and comes away from the skillet sides easily, pour onto parchment paper.
- 5
Cool 5 minutes until touchable. Shape into 1.5-inch balls or a flat bar, pressing gently to firm up.
- 6
Sprinkle pistachios and rose petals on top. Serve at room temperature once fully set.
