Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • ½ lb ground beef
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. 1

In a bowl, mix the 0.5 lb ground beef, 0.25 cup breadcrumbs, and 1 egg until just combined. Roll into 12 small meatballs.

  2. 2

Heat a large skillet over medium-high. Add the meatballs and cook, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

  3. 3

Pour in the 2 cups marinara sauce and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and cook until meatballs are cooked through, about 10 minutes.

  4. 4

Meanwhile, cook the 8 oz spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and divide among plates.

  5. 5

Spoon the meatballs and sauce over the spaghetti. Top with the 0.25 cup parmesan and fresh parsley if desired.
