Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 lb frozen french fries

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 425°F. Spread the 1 lb frozen french fries on a baking sheet and bake until golden and crispy, about 20 minutes, shaking halfway.

  2. 2

In a bowl, mix the 1 lb ground beef, 1 egg, 0.5 cup breadcrumbs, 1 tsp salt, and 0.5 tsp black pepper until just combined. Shape into 4 patties.

  3. 3

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the 4 patties for 4-5 minutes per side until browned and cooked through (no pink inside).
