- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 stalks green onions, sliced
- 1 tsp sesame seeds

In a small bowl, mix 2 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp mirin, and 1 tbsp sugar until dissolved. Set aside.

Heat a large skillet over high heat. Add the 0.5 lb beef tongue slices in a single layer and sear until browned, about 1-2 minutes per side.
