Ingredients
- ¾ lb ground lamb
- 1.5 cups long-grain white rice (or basmati)
- 2 cups fresh green beans, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 1 medium tomato, diced (or halved cherry tomatoes for garnish)
- ½ tsp turmeric
- ½ tsp cumin

Bring 3 cups salted water to a boil in a large skillet over high heat.

Stir in rice, reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 15 minutes until water absorbs and rice is tender.

Meanwhile, brown lamb in a second skillet over medium-high, breaking it into small pieces, until no pink remains, ~5 minutes.
