Ingredients
- ½ lb ground lamb
- 2 pieces pita bread
- ¾ cup plain yogurt
- 3 tbsp tahini
- 1 whole lemon (juiced)
- 2 whole garlic cloves, minced
- 1 pinch sumac or paprika, salt and pepper to taste

Cut pita into triangles. Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high.

Fry pita triangles until golden and crispy, ~2 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate.

In a bowl, whisk together yogurt, tahini, lemon juice, and 2 tbsp water until smooth.

Add lamb and minced garlic to the same skillet over medium-high heat.

Break up lamb with a spoon, cooking until no pink remains, ~6 minutes.

Season lamb with salt, pepper, and sumac. Remove from heat.

Spread half the yogurt sauce on a plate. Layer pita on top, then lamb.

Drizzle remaining sauce over lamb. Top with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm.
