Ingredients

  • 8 sheets fish cake sheets
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp gochujang
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 stalk green onion

Instructions

  1. 1

Cut the 8 fish cake sheets into 1-inch wide strips. Thread each strip onto a wooden skewer, weaving back and forth so it stays secure.

  2. 2

In a small bowl, mix 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp gochujang, 1 tsp sesame oil, and 1 minced garlic clove until smooth.

  3. 3

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Brush the skewers with half of the glaze.

  4. 4

Grill the skewers for 3-4 minutes per side, until the fish cakes are lightly charred and heated through.

  5. 5

Brush the remaining glaze over the skewers during the last minute of grilling.

  6. 6

Sprinkle with 1 tsp sesame seeds and 1 sliced green onion before serving.
