Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tbsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (white or black)

Instructions

    Soak 8–10 wooden skewers in water for 10 minutes.

    Cut chicken thighs into 1.5-inch cubes; set aside.

    Whisk soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger.

    Toss chicken with marinade; thread onto skewers.

    Heat grill or grill pan to medium-high until hot, ~2 minutes.

    Grill skewers 3–4 minutes per side until edges char and center registers 165°F.

    Sprinkle sesame seeds over skewers. Serve hot.
