Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup popcorn kernels
  • 2 tbsp neutral oil
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

    Combine oil, sugar, and salt in a large pot with a tight-fitting lid.

    Add popcorn kernels and stir to coat evenly with the oil mixture.

    Cover pot and place over medium-high heat. Shake the pot occasionally.

    Listen for popping to slow to 2–3 seconds between pops, then remove from heat.

    Pour into a bowl and serve warm.
