Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 2 tsp green tea leaves (preferably gunpowder)
- 4 whole cardamom pods, crushed
- 1 whole cinnamon stick
- ¼ tsp saffron strands
- 2 tbsp honey or sugar
- ¼ cup unsalted almonds and walnuts, sliced
- 1 tsp dried rose petals (optional garnish)

Pour water into a small pot or saucepan. Add cardamom pods and cinnamon stick.

Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce to medium-low.

Add green tea leaves and saffron strands. Simmer 3–4 minutes without boiling hard.

Stir in honey until dissolved. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.

Strain into small cups or a pot, leaving spices behind. Pour carefully into serving cups.
