Ingredients

  • 1 piece sub roll (6 to 8 inches)
  • 2 oz deli ham, sliced thin
  • 1.5 oz deli salami or pepperoni, sliced thin
  • 2 oz provolone cheese, sliced
  • ½ cup roasted red bell pepper or tomato
  • 2 tbsp olive oil and red wine vinegar (2:1 ratio)

Instructions

    Slice the sub roll horizontally, then gently pull open the two halves without separating completely.

    Layer ham, salami, and provolone on the bottom half, slightly overlapping each slice.

    Add roasted red pepper or tomato slices on top of the cheese.

    Drizzle olive oil and red wine vinegar evenly over the filling. Season with salt and pepper.

    Close the roll gently. Cut in half diagonally if serving two. Serve immediately.
