Ingredients
- ¾ lb ground beef
- 2 pieces pita bread
- ½ cup Greek yogurt
- ½ cup canned crushed tomato
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 large tomato (for grilling)

Heat 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high. Brown ground beef, breaking it into small pieces, until no pink remains, about 6 minutes.

Warm crushed tomato in a small pan, stirring occasionally, until it starts to bubble, about 3 minutes.

Toast pita bread directly over a burner flame or in a dry skillet until warm and lightly charred, 1 minute per side.

Slice tomato into thick rounds. Sear in the same skillet (oil or butter as needed) until soft and caramelized, 2 minutes per side.

Place pita on a plate. Layer beef on top, then pour warm tomato sauce over it. Dollop yogurt on the side.

Melt remaining 2 tbsp butter in a small pan, then drizzle over the yogurt and beef. Serve with grilled tomato.
