Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 1 cup strong brewed black tea (cooled)
  • ½ cup whole milk or half-and-half
  • ¼ cup cooked tapioca pearls (boba)
  • 1 cup ice

Instructions

    Combine brown sugar and water in a small bowl. Stir until sugar dissolves, ~30 seconds.

    Pour cooled tea into a large glass or shaker. Add milk and brown sugar syrup.
