Ingredients

  • 1 loaf baguette
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 8 fresh figs
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick rounds and arrange them on a baking sheet.

  2. 2

Brush both sides of each bread slice with the 2 tbsp olive oil. Toast in the oven for 8-10 minutes, flipping once, until golden and crisp.

  3. 3

While the bread toasts, slice the 8 figs into thin rounds. Strip the leaves from the 1 rosemary sprig and chop them finely.

  4. 4

Remove the toasted bread from the oven. Top each slice with a few fig slices, slightly overlapping.

  5. 5

Drizzle the 3 tbsp honey over the crostini and sprinkle with the chopped rosemary. Serve warm or at room temperature.
