Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves, lightly packed
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • ½ cup pine nuts or walnuts
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • ¾ cup olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

    Add basil, garlic, and nuts to a food processor or blender. Pulse until coarsely chopped.

    Add Parmesan and pulse once more to combine.

    With the motor running, drizzle in olive oil slowly until the mixture turns creamy and bright green.

    Taste and season with salt and pepper. Transfer to a bowl.
