Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup dried hibiscus flowers
  • 2 cup water
  • 200 g fresh strawberries
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp agave syrup or honey
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Instructions

  1. 1

Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan over high heat. Add the dried hibiscus flowers and remove from heat immediately, then let steep for 8-10 minutes until the liquid turns a deep crimson and becomes fragrant. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl, discarding the flowers.

  2. 2

Hull the fresh strawberries and place them in a blender with the cooled hibiscus tea, lime juice, and agave syrup. Blend on high speed for 30-45 seconds until smooth and completely combined.

  3. 3

Fill two glasses halfway with ice cubes, then pour the hibiscus-strawberry mixture evenly over the ice. Stir gently and taste, adjusting sweetness with more agave if needed.

  4. 4

Serve immediately while cold and refreshing, with a lime wheel or fresh strawberry slice as garnish if desired.
