Ingredients
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup butter
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 large egg yolk
- ¼ cup jam
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

In a bowl, mix 1.5 cups flour, 0.5 cup softened butter, 0.25 cup sugar, and 1 egg yolk until a soft dough forms. If too crumbly, add 1 tbsp cold water.

Roll dough on a floured surface to 1/4 inch thick. Cut into heart shapes using a cookie cutter. Place half the hearts on a baking sheet lined with parchment.

Spoon 1/2 tsp jam onto the center of each heart on the sheet. Top with another heart and press edges with a fork to seal.

Bake at 350°F for 12-15 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Cool on the sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a rack.
